King PipeGrade® is a special black polyethylene material for the pipe industry. It is available in sheets, slabs, and massive shapes.
King PipeGrade not only satisfies the ASTM PE 3408 standard, it has also been made into disks large enough to create 66 inch diameter flanges.

King PipeGrade can also be made into a unique stub end shape, the King Top Hat, from which one can machine a pipe that is integral with a straight section of pipe.
With 2.3% carbon black, King PipeGrade may be used in certain applications instead of standard black HDPE (1% carbon) that require maximum environmental stabilization and environmental stress crack resistance.
